If i had to chose two colors to wear in my life,i's be black and white.One thing i miss right now is having time going to events and not having to worry about school assignments or what not.
As times have change,changing the way one handles things would be a coping mechanism .

one day i'd want to travel around the world and attend bigger fashion weeks like Paris fashion week or newyork,milan and so on so forth.

Behind the glits and glammer,it's nothing short of having to network with other people.Seems like the most easiest but i beg to differ,it's really different once you step out there and experience it for yourself.
Coming from an introverted past,i've never expected doing anything like i have.
But i am proud of how far i've come,considering the words coming out of my mouth had almost or little 'power' (as told by a friend of mine back in secondary school)
so far so good.but one day,i want to be out there and NOT find it any tough.as if it's second nature.

Tomorrowland

Short sypnosis:
Tomorrowland is about a young lady(casey newton) touching a pin and temporarily seeing the future ;the recruiting reason was due to a startled discovery about the future and together they tried to do something before time was running out.

I really think it's an amazing show to catch no matter one's age.The movie not only transported the character into the future but sucked me into the story line as a party of a bystander
it's definitely a different kind of movie disney has produced and personally,it has been visually captivating.

Some Random Thoughts

 

I remember looking out into the skies and wondering "oh,isn't life about having courage to live an adventure? If not,what a waste life would be doing plain mundane boring old things."

Imagine waking up because you need to,working to pay bills because you need to,eating because you need to,sleep.repeat.

The sound of this could put me into a long term sleep.If this wasn't what life was suppose to be,what exactly was it? 

A million questions running through my mind but the answers amounting to...zero.

But rather,I chose to believe a common factor with famous sayings like "Live like you're dying" , "Life's what you make it","live to the fullest".

The pattern of which mentioned is about living and trying to reach your goals/dreams 120% and going all out for it.

Now,instead of swallowing food mainly because you have to fill up the black hole in your system....Imagine tasting,savouring and smelling.

Experiencing what a certain food had to offer.Enjoying each bite as it oozes out juices or crunches beautifully from it's glorious golden brown layer of goodness.

It's nothing new when sometimes ,showering becomes a chore.On days,we could be extremely exhausted or other days,lazy.

But what if we chose to take it as a relaxing activity? ;Clearly sorting out thoughts and having peace and quiet to meditate."recharging your batteries" would be what i want to call it.(other than the main source of sleeping).

How nice would it be indeed..and of course,reminding yourself the goal you want to achieve and reinforcing that thought would be half a battle won for the next day by emotionally preparing yourself.

 

"I want to see the world." Imagine doing just that.Whether by air crafts to or by foot,going to places to see new things in order to gain a better understanding of it so that you can apply it to
It can act as inspiration,motivation and believe me,going places will surprise you from what i've yet to mention.whatever you absorb, a little here and a little there creates a unique blend of creative juices for you to do something.probably even doing something with your dreams or goals.

Even after the music fades and lights dim,to enjoy yourself and appreciate times (though there might be a tint of loneliness)..know otherwise.oh,feelings are temporary.

to love...because you can and love them to your fullest...what a wonderful sweet ingredient life has given you..

In short,life has SO much to offer. Whether sweet,bitter or sour,it's a gift.and it will be a step closer daily to dreams coming through if that's what you want for yourself bad enough and do it.
Not everything comes after snapping your fingers,Make a difference in your own life..today..

fidus Achates? Bosom buddy? With an English dictionary so rich,but I've somewhat yet to find a word that contains what a best friend and soul mate you are to me. (p.s I'm straight.)

I love how spontaneous we are.

...Making better life choices,together.

 At this point of my post,I have just realized the many other adventurous things we have done that isn't included here and oh..how we meet halfways;

When i dragged you to balance on ropes from levels above ground,

how scared you were yet you tried.

When i insisted on jumping from the fourth/fifth level diaonally down from a harness,

how hesitant you were yet you tried.

When i couldn't get out of bed almost every other day with important events,

how you called multiple times though you could have slept through those precious morning lights.

i could go on and on and on but to wrap up;

How blessed am i to have stumbled upon a gem

Raw,blue and beautiful

Reflecting light and directing it through other's life

Blessed is the man who takes you as his wife.

 (in the future,oh guard your heart in the meantime)

When we first talked to each other

I knew we would always be friends.
Our friendship has kept on growing
And I'll be here for you to the end.

You listen when I have a problem
And help dry the tears from my face.

We can't forget the fun we've had

Digital Fashion Week 2014 Roundup

 

The annual 4-day event is back in sg from 31st October to 3rd of November 2014

This year,bringing in the top tier fashion influencers and bloggers like Jenn Im & Stephanie Villa from the US ,BaoBao from China,Kim jones and the rest of the fashionistas that are widely known.

Not forgetting Sheena Liam and Jourdan Miller from Asia next top model and America next top model respectively. ( sure i missed out but many others so.. why not check it out for yourself?)

I'm just gonna cut to the chase and share a couple of my favorite outfits / almost-a-favorite being featured in the shows i have catch/attended.

For some of you,you might think that it is Outré ,but really,"you make all the fashion statements just by dressing up your mind."-Jason Mraz ; + some pieces i personally think are excellent.

 This oh-so sporting cornflower blue has such a defined sleeve outline accompanied with small cut outs around the shoulders .There might be two very distinctive colors but i find that it just flows so well together.

There's just THAT smoothness as your eye glides down from the top to the bottom,doesn't it?
I really like how they top it off with a translucent vest piece to spice up the look by making it look more put-together.

Typically the X-ray fabrics that no spring summer collection can ever NOT include.
The black sheer delicate-looking fabric screams edginess & femininity.
Putting the look towards the hard chic end by Mixing it up with a synthetic PU-looking leather bottom for contrasted textures.
Overall,the closest word i can use to describe this look ; —ferosh
Personally ,the blouse are to die for.

 

The only thing i like about this outfit is how it plays with different layers towards the bottom half of the outfit.

Black & Neon are a good & safe choice as dual color options,however,raglan?
In my opinion,the top continues to the neck with no shoulder seam doesn't look flattering with the two stripes that is attached to the bottom.
There isn't frame. + it looks like the stripes are falling off any second as well.
But i have to say the raglan sleeve says -sporty in an instant with the neon yellow sides.

I feel that this is such a more intense look in comparison to the one above.
black on black and heavy fabric choices.
An ordinary Dirndl Skirt which is nothing special to touch on,really.
Personally i adore the top half of the outfit but i can't seem to put my finger on it.

Black is indeed timeless and classic but i guess i can't say very much for this ;
Mainly because all i see is black & truth is ,i can't see the details on the top except for the lovely yet interesting cuttings on the sleeves.(vaguely)
other than that,that's it.

Many say"when in doubt,wear black".
this look turns the tables around because white is the new black. yes you heard me.
white on white on white.. such a crisp + fresh color accent you just CAN'T just tired off.
a translucent outer wear poncho made the outfit more complex.
There are just slight round cuts at the shoulders to give the silhouette a more..angled start where it doesn't just look like an undone fabric layered on top.

 

asymmetrical GREY dresses.LOVE.

what i love about this is how it looks so light weight but more full towards the lower end of the outfit.
just the right balance.pleasant.
The neckline gently hovering across diagonally. & is that a pocket i spotted?
that's a plus point in my book.way to keep it functional as well.

Greys

grey;
the buffer color of black and white,
such questionable shades,
with the indication of an undetermined answer.

   
 
Total internal lock down with nothing ,but the need to travel.

driven by passion,
immersed in dreams...maybe even too far to reach,too big to imagine.
I mean,That's what imagination is for? Ain't that right?

and if there's anything i could have told my younger self,
i'd wish i had stepped out of my comfort zone earlier;
take risks,discover unfamilar things,learn new hobbies.

For someone being terrified of water,it just takes a leap of faith,a reckless moment of boldness and a terrible -almost- anxiety attack to conquer that giant.
For someone being an introvert in secondary school , it just takes an age of awakening,a desire to connect and an - almost- badly stuttered sentence to begin your first interactive conversation.
And.. the list goes on..

At the end of the day,
do what makes you happy.
